Join Angela in this solo episode:
Ayurveda in Everyday Life as a Parent.
This current society puts a lot of pressure on parents - especially
mothers - that we have to do everything a certain way and be
everything to everyone. This episode includes some simple tips to
practicing Ayurveda in everyday life with children. Angela's hope
is that it creates softening, self trust and perhaps devotion to
simplifying and considering what’s most important to you so you’re
operating as your highest self which influences your family life,
how you parent and how you are as an individual.
In this episode, learn more about:
• Living an ayurvedic lifestyle as a parent is to realize that it’s
a very messy experience
• Softening of a routine when there are children involved
• Invitation to look at what it would be like to begin your day
checking in with your own energy before doing anything
else
• Review of the importance of chewing your
food well, getting good sleep, and following a daily rhythm
• 3 tips for practicing Ayurveda in everyday life as a parent
If you want to dive deeper into support in parenting and living
an ayurvedic lifestyle and supporting your kids with Ayurveda, the
Simple Ayurveda Collective has a 4 part series called Family
Foundations that you can go through week by week or at your own
pace. Goes through some of the things I feel are helpful in living
an Ayurvedic lifestyle with children.
